The free Swiss joint account

A joint account is a shared bank account that two people can use to manage shared expenses, pay bills and save money together. With Yuh&Me, both account holders receive their own cards and have access to the app, as well as receiving real-time notifications.

A personal account belongs to one person, whereas a joint account is shared between two people. With Yuh&Me, however, both people can manage shared expenses together while keeping their personal Yuh accounts separate.

It really is free. There are zero monthly fees, no hidden catches and no sneaky surprises. You get a fully loaded joint account with a Swiss IBAN, two physical Mastercards, two virtual Mastercards, savings projects, eBill, TWINT and Pocket Insurance.

Partners (you don’t have to be married), family members, siblings or flatmates. As long as you are both over 18, live in Switzerland and have your own active Yuh personal account, you can open an account together.

Yes. Each person needs their own Yuh app, login and ID verification. This gives you your own complete experience without without stepping on each other’s digital toes.

Yes. This is a zone of total financial transparency. Every swipe, transfer and savings move triggers a real-time notification for both of you. So, yes, you’ll know exactly who bought that midnight pizza.

No crowd scenes allowed! For now, it’s strictly limited to two people and one account per duo. Two’s company and three’s a crowd, and we like to keep things simple and drama-free.

Not yet. For now, investing remains a solo activity and is only available through personal accounts. However, we are working on it, so stay tuned.

It takes two to tango, and it takes two to call it quits (at Yuh, at least). Either of you can start the process, but you must both agree to close the account. No ghosting allowed!

Absolutely. Your relationship status doesn’t matter. As long as you both live in Switzerland and have your own active Yuh personal account, you’re good to go. Flatmates, siblings, partners or whoever you trust with shared expenses are all welcome.
